Feedback from recent training:

I chose Celebrants Training College because of its flexible approach to training. The course materials are well structured and each topic is dealt with thoroughly. The trainers have a wealth of knowledge and helped to build my confidence as the course progressed. One of the best aspects of the course is the take-home questions, which means you can put into practice the things you have just learnt. As a law student in my final year, I think the real value of the course lies in the way it developed my written and presentation skills. Natural eloquence and public speaking are difficult skills to master, as is ceremonial writing. What the course did was to develop my existing skills in a different way, by focusing on the needs of the client first, then articulating those needs into a well-written personalised ceremony. These professional skills are vital to being a celebrant. This is an excellent course for anyone who is currently, or who is considering a career as, a celebrant.

Right from the very first phone call to the end of my face to face training, nothing but professionalism and making me feel welcome and valued. The face to face training, extremely interesting, you managed to hold my attention for three sessions, I don’t know how you managed that Sally! I have chosen to do the Diploma in Celebrancy, however, I did consider the option of just doing one of the units – Weddings…fair to say I’m hooked and doing the lot! Sally and Dudley, thank you for sharing your knowledge and wisdom and just knowing an email or a phone call will answer any questions I have. I am feeling proud and very prepared for my role as a New Zealand Registered Celebrant. Because of your training, I have already a wedding ceremony booked, and Hospice Northland are wishing to talk with me about capturing information before end of life, I guess as your book title says Sally, a ‘Conversation About Death’. I have no hesitation in recommending ‘The Celebrant Training School’. Please feel free to forward my details should anyone like to talk further about the ‘quality training and support’ you and your team provide. Once again Sally, Whakawhetai koe
