Our Trainers

Debbie Woodfield
Deb is the New Zealand administrator for Celebrants Training College and one of the trainers for our courses.
This is the perfect job for her because she has been a full-time teacher for 40 years, has married more than 300 couples and helped many families farewell their loved ones in funerals and memorials.
When she is not working, she loves to play and sing with her small grandsons, spend time on their beautiful beaches in Tauranga or travel overseas with her husband.
Speaking of her husband… they chose to have a celebrant marry them in a garden over 40 years ago. She knew then that she would be a celebrant one day!

Beth joined our training group in 2024.

Beth has been a member of CANZ since 2015, and a Validated (VCANZ)  member and was a National Exec member.

She is an accomplished & confident speaker and trainer, with a strong background of public service and governance on Boards of Trustees across a wide variety of spheres including charities, school, local government and community organisations.

Aside from being a Celebrant, Beth is also a Justice of the Peace, the proud mother of 2 adult children, and is a daughter, sister and the wife of Jim.

Beth’s hobbies are good food & wine, travel and live concerts & theatre.

Tasha Bowen

Meet Tasha Bowen. Mother. Wife. Loves golf. Gin Lover. And the ultimate cheerleader for your success.
Tasha became a celebrant a decade after first thinking, "I’d love to do that." It was a simple dream that took ten years to action—and her first piece of advice to you is: don't wait that long.
Once she finally took the leap, there was no looking back. Having married over 450 couples in under six years, Tasha’s passion for her craft is unmatched. The glowing, heartfelt feedback she receives from her couples isn't just a bonus; it’s the fuel that keeps her going.
For Tasha, the absolute core value of a great celebrant is connection.
